Vintage National Matsushita RX-C37L Stereo Radio Cassette Player New in Box
Vintage National Matsushita RX-C37L Stereo Radio Cassette Player - New in Box. Note: the box wasn't sealed, so I removed the item briefly to take some better photos and to check it was still working. The radio still works fine.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get the cassette player to work. It whirs when the buttons are depressed but the wheel that is supposed to rotate the cassette tape never actually moves. I don't know if this is something that could be easily fixed with a little know-how. The only other thing I noticed was that the metal buttons and aerial looked slightly tarnished (see 3rd picture).
I can only assume that this is from age as the device has simply been sitting in its box in storage all this time (so it can't be the result of wear). Beyond that, the device is still in excellent condition, as you might expect. The box is a bit battered in places but that's about it.
Last thing to note - the plug that came with it looks American (it's a two-pronged one, definitely not a British plug), so either an adaptor or a replacement plug might be required.
